Research and Planning Tool from the
Inventory of Housing and Support Services
One of the projects funded by the City of Ottawa's Supporting Communities Partnership Initiative (SCPI) Funding is Community Capacity Building (CCB). As most of you know, the CCB process began spring 2004 with the commitment for sector planning. These plans were then incorporated into the new Community Action Plan to Prevent and End Homelessness in Ottawa. To support this planning, there was also an allocation made for a service inventory.
It is anticipated that the information will be useful for planning, staff support, training, forging partnerships and, generally, helping us all organize and develop our capacity for client service, individually and as a service delivery system.
