Letter to tell our politicians that homelessness is unacceptable!
English French
We encourage you to send the letter taken from the back page of the Report Card on Ending Homelessness in Ottawa, Jan-Dec 2008 to the Prime Minister along with a copy to the Premier of Ontario and to the Mayor of Ottawa if appropriate for you.
The letter calls upon the Government of Canada to invest in affordable housing and homelessness initiatives.
The Alliance to End Homelessness and concerned Canadians urgently call upon the Government of Canada to invest in affordable housing and homelessness initiatives. We ask that the Government of Canada:

- Increase funding to help communities address homelessness and make it ongoing; and
- Improve access to and the rates of national income support programs so people can afford housing.Â
