We are pleased to announce Krista Loughton, filmmaker of US & THEM will join us as AGM guest speaker.
Filmed over a decade, US & THEM – through a compassionate style of documentary – brings attention to homelessness and addiction. Under the counsel of Dr. Gabor Maté the film displays extraordinary empathy and wisdom as it shatters misconceptions about why people end up on the streets. At a time when Canada is in the midst of both an affordable housing shortage and opioid crisis, this film has never been more relevant.
