OVERVIEW

The Housing and Homelessness Leadership Table (HHLT) has been developed by the City of Ottawa’s Housing Services and the housing and homelessness sector in a co-design process over the last two years. It will function as an Advisory Committee as approved by City Council with a mission to plan, design, and oversee the ongoing implementation of an integrated housing and homelessness system and related sectors to deliver affordable, suitable, and adequate housing choices and reduction in homelessness.

This entails co-design of the 10 Year Housing and Homelessness Plan to develop the strategy, and serving in an ongoing advisory function to oversee its’ implementation.

The HHLT will comprise a maximum of 18 positions. Members of the HHLT are representing various sectors within the housing and homelessness system. They are expected to focus their contributions from the perspective of a whole sector rather than any one organization.
